GATE 2013 Application last date extended till 3rd October 2012

Application submission deadline for GATE 2013 has been extended till 3rd October 2012. Details of changed dates and online application submission has been provided on the GATE 2013 official website at http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2013/ . It appears that the GATE 2013 authorities have taken the decision to extend the last date due to heavy rush of applications on the last date, 30th September 2012.

The New Email registrations can be done only till 10 AM on 1st October 2012. After that time, candidates will be able to edit and submit the applications for registered candidates. The online application submission will close in three days from today i.e, 3rd October 2012 by 5 AM (IST).

After the above mentioned dates, online application submissions will not be accepted. There will not be any provision for online fee payment after 3rd September 2012. Chalans of offline fee payments can be downloaded from the website and fee can be paid at SBI / Canara Bank branches till 8th October 2012.

Printed / hard copies of application forms should be sent to respective Zonal GATE 2013 officers so as to reach by post or in person on or before 8th October 2012. For more details, see http://www.gate.iitb.ac.in/gate2013/ .

TISS – PG Admissions 2013-15 for MA, HRM and other Programs

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai has announced notification for admission to Master’s Degree programmes for the academic year 2013 – 15. TISS is offering 39 Post Graduation programmes at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad campuses. Applicants must have Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. The selection process will consist of National level Common Written Test, Pre – Interview Test and Personal Interview.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through website : https://admissions.tiss.edu. The application fee should be paid by Credit Card / Debit or Net Banking or Cash deposit in any branch of SBI through fee payment challan. The hard copy of application form along with fee challan and 2 photographs should be sent to The Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, V.N.Purav Marg, Deonar, Mumbai – 400 088.

Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 20th November, 2012. Common Entrance Test will be held on 13th January, 2013. Date of Pre – Interview Test and Personal Interview is 7th to 20th March, 2013 at TISS Mumbai Campus. PG programme will be started from 13th May 2013 for M.A. Education and 10th June, 2013 for all other programmes.
