Delhi Govt NTSE and NMMS Scholarship Exams 2013

Directorate of Education (Science Branch), Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has announced National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) and national Means cum Merit (NMMS) Scholarship Examination 2013. The Delhi Government will held first stage NTSE on 18th November 2012 for those studying in class 10 in Govt .and Recognised schools in Delhi. For NTSE scholarship exam, general candidates should have secured 60 percent marks in class 11 . Reserved candidates need minimum 55 percent marks.

NMMS 2012-13 will be held for class 8 students studying in NDMC and MCD regions. Applicants should have secured at least 55 percent marks in Class 7th for General category and 50 percent for Reserved category.

Interested candidates can download application forms from department website at www.edudel.nic.in . Last date for the receipt of filled in application forms is 31st August 2012. Issue of admit cards will be between 1st October – 31st October 2012. For more details, see the website mentioned above.

TN SET 2012 by Bharathiar University on 7th October

Bharathiar University, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) has released Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TN SET October 2012) for the award of Lectureship. The TN SET 2012 exam will be held on Sunday, 07th October 2012. The TNSET scores will be considered for the recruitment of Lecturers in Degree Colleges and Universities in Tamil Nadu and Union Territory of Puducherry.

TN SET 2012 (October) will be held in the following 27 subjects: Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Management, Physical Sciences, Philosophy, Electronics, History, Public Administration, Music, Education, Journalism & Mass Communication, Physical Education, English, Life Sciences, Commerce, Economics, Geography, Political Sciences, Hindi, Psychology, Home Science, Social Work, Sociology, Law, Computer Science & Application, Tamil, Library and Information Science.

Eligibility: Applicants should have secured minimum 55 percent marks in Post Graduation in the concerned subject. Those appearing for the final year examination may also apply. Candidates should appear in the subject they studied in PG only. There is no upper age limit for TN SET examination.

There will be three objective multiple choice type question papers in TN SET 2012.
Paper I: General Aptitude (60 questions for 100 marks)
Paper II: Concerned Subject (50 question for 100 marks)
Paper III: Concerned Subject: (75 questions for 100 marks)

Interested candidates can apply in the prescribed format available on the website www.b-u.ac.in/set2012 . You can also download fee challan from the website. Last date for the submission of online applications is 31st August 2012. TN SET October 2012 will be held on 7th October 2012.
