Assam University Silchar (Assam) is offering Agricultural Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication and Information Technology (IT). Admission to these courses will be based on AIEEE ranks and through counseling by CCB (Central Counseling Board). Following are cut off ranks of Assam University Engineering courses for the year 2011-12. Last ranks / opening and closing ranks for Open, OBC, ST, SC and PH categories are given below.

Cut off ranks for Home State and All India categories are provided by CCB based on the last year admissions. All India ranks only will be considered for the counseling. National Institute of Technology (NIT Kurukshetra – Haryana) if offering B.Tech programmes in all leading specializations such as Civil, Electrical, Computer, ECE, Industrial Engineering and Management, IT and Mechanical Engineering. NITK admits students to its B.Tech courses based on AIEEE ranks and counseling held by Central Counseling Board (CCB). Website of the institute is www.nitkkr.ac.in . There is good demand for Mechanical Engineering at NIT Kurukshetra. Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering are other famous programmes at UG level in this institute.
