Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai invites applications for Young Scholars’ Programme. This programme will be conducted during November every year. IGIDR was established by Reserve Bank of India to carry out advanced research on economic, development and financial issues. Selection of the candidates will be based on the merits of CV and a brief note on candidate’s motivation. Total number of candidates to be selected is 30 – 40 from all disciplines.
Eligibility: Young scholars in the disciplines of Humanities and Social Sciences are eligible to apply for IGIDR Scholars Programme. Applicants should have interest and aptitude for Human Development research and teaching.
Education Qualifications: Candidates with Master’s Degree ( M.A., M.Sc. or M.Phil.) can apply. Recently appointed lecturers are also eligible to apply.
