Birla Institute of Technology (BIT Mesra) issued admission notification for PG Diploma Programmes for the year 2011-12. The programmes offered are PG Diploma in Bioanalytical Techniques and PG Diploma programme in Pharmacovigilance. These are offered in collaboration with Lotus Clinical Research Academy Private Limited, Bangalore (LCRA). Following are details of eligibility and application procedure:
1. PG Diploma in Bioanalytical Techniques: Duration is one year
2. PG Diploma in Pharmacovigilance: Duration – one year
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have B.Pharma degree from a PCI and AICTE recognised Institute. OR candidaets with MBBS / BVSc / BDS / BAMS / M.Sc. Life Sciences also can apply. Applicants must have minimum 60 percent marks in qualifying degree.

Filled in application forms along with required enclosures and crossed DD for Rs. 1000/- in favor of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi should be sent to office of the ‘Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215. Last date for receipt of filled in applications is 17th February 2011.

You can download the application form from BIT Mesra website and take a print out of it. Detailed instructions for filling the forms also available on the site. You need to take a DD for Rs. 1000 as application fee and send along with prescribed enclosures.
