UPSC – IES Cut Offs for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Branches

UPSC conducted Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is known as one of the most difficult competitive examinations in the country. The question papers in all the branches (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Telecommunications) are considered as highly standard and tests basic engineering skill sets of the candidates. Though various national level exams are being conducted in purely objective type, ESE exam structure still emphasizes on conventional type question papers along with objective questions. Cut Off marks for the previous ESE of Indian Engineering Services shows that 400 – 500 marks would ensure a job in central services. Candidates require well planned preparation to crack ESE.
