Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai has announced admission notification 2012 for Integrated M.Phil – Ph.D and Direct Ph.D programmes for the academic year 2012-13. Candidates who have qualified in UGC JRF, Post Graduates and students in Final year of their post graduation in Social Sciences and allied subjects can apply. Individuals with M.Phil and / or industrial, academic and field based experience in Social Sciences, Social work and related fields are also encouraged to apply. Duration of Integrated M. Phil – Ph. D. programme is five years and this is a full time programme. For M. Phil in subjects like Education, Women’s Studies and Development Studies candidates have to undergo a subject specific M. Phil. Programme of four semesters. All other candidates will have to undergo a common course work in Research Methodology. Ph.D. programme can be pursued from any of the TISS campuses.
