The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh has come up with a new entrance cum selection test for teachers recruitment. The exam named as Teacher Eligibility and Selection Test (TEST) will have to get the final approval from the Government. In all probability, the TEST 2013 will be used for the recruitment of 25000 teachers in Govt. schools in the coming year.
The Education Minister has informed that there will be a single test called TEST 2013 for the forthcoming teaches recruitment for the posts of School Assistants and Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT). The recruitment may also include teacher posts to be sanctioned under Right to Education Act.
The TEST 2013 notification will be released in December 2012 / January 2013 with 25000 posts. Candidates need not appear for APTET separately. The test will include APTET and DSC Papers for the convenience of the aspiring candidates.
