CBSE has come up with revaluation of answer books from the year 2014. Candidates can now apply for revaluation of their answer books in theory papers. The revaluation is allowed in maximum 10 questions each in the subjects of English Core, Functional English, English Elective, Hindi Core, Hindi Elective, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies, Economics and Accountancy.
Another important thing is, only candidates who apply for verification of marks and for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book can apply for re-evaluation. The application procedure for revaluation will be online only.
If the candidate secure a score with variation of +5 marks or more in a particular subject, marks in first evaluation will be cancelled and fresh marks will be awarded. They will be issued a fresh marks statement.
Candidates can apply online for revaluation from 28th June 2014 to July 04, 2014. They can also apply for photocopies of the answer scripts. For more details, see cbseresults.nic.in .
