Directorate of Admissions, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh has announced notification for SVURPGCET 2011 (Sri Venkateswara University Region Post Graduate Common Entrance Tests). Admission to all Post Graduate Programs in Sri Venkateswara University and SKU, SPMVV, YVU, RU and VSU will be through SVURPGCET 2011 / SVU PGCET / SVU CET only. Candidates can refer www.svurpgcet.org for more details on subjects / disciplines offered in various universities. Women students of Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana regions can apply for PG courses in Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswavidyalayam (Womens University) as it is a state wide university. Following are the details of universities that comes under the purview of SVU Region PG Common Entrance Test for the academic year 2011-12.

2. Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa
3. Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (Women’s University), Tirupati
4. Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore
5. Rayalaseema University, Kurnool
6. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur
Eligibility, availability of application forms and procedure: Applicants should have passed in the concerned subject at Graduation level. Those candidates appeared / appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for SVURPGCET 2011-12. Applications are also made available at main post offices in the Sri Venkateswara University Region. Applications also available at branches of Andhra Bank at Kadapa, Nellore, Chittor along with campus branches located in SVU, SKU and Sri Padmavathi Mahila University. You can also get the forms at SBH branch at SVU Campus and SBI branch at Rayalaseema University.

SV University shall release the notification with dates very soon. The dates mentioned in the post are tentative but the application procedure will be similar. You can get the actual dates of application availability and last date after the SVUCET 2011 announcement.
You can get the application form from university they can cxplicite the centers

There is no provision to apply online for SVURPGCET 2011. You should obtain printed application as prescribed in the notification / above post.

Did you check the last year cut offs for MCA provided on this site? That will give you an understanding of your chances.

Though both Biochemistry and Chemistry are considered good subjects, General Chemistry / Organic Chemistry will have slight advantage over Biochemistry. You can give first preference to Organic Chemistry if the option is available. It may not be possible to get a seat in University campus with the given ranks. You can try to join in reputed affiliated college.
