Sardar Vallabbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, Gujarat is one of the leading NITs in the country. Going by the AIEEE cut offs for 2011, we can say that Mechanical, Electrical and Communication Engineering are most preferred choices of the candidates for Engineering education. All India Rank is the main criteria for seats allotment in AIEEE counseling. It is most unlikely to get a Civil Engineering seat in NIT Surat with your rank. You can consider joining Chemical Engineering, which is also a good option.
