Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarships 2012-13

Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (RSS), New Delhi is offering Scholarships for eligible candidates. RSS is a Deemed University set up by the Government of India. Number of Scholarships will be awarded depending on the availability of funds. Following are details of scholarship amount, eligibility and application procedure.

Amount of Scholarship is Rs. 250 for candidates who are studying 9th and 10th classes / Purva Madhyama with Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit and Rs. 300 for 11th and 12th classes / Prak Shastri / Uttar-
Madhyama with Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit as a paper of at least 100 marks.

Eligibility : Applicants should have passed with a minimum 60 percent marks in the previous examination of the respective class. They should have secured minimum first class marks in Sanskrit / Pali / Prakrit.

Interested and eligible candidates can download application form from Sansthan’s website www.sanskrit.nic.in. Filled in application form along with attested copies of the certificates as a proof of education (mark – sheet of the latest qualifying examination) and caste certificate should be sent to the Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University) 56 – 57, Institutional Area,Janak Puri, New Delhi- 110 058. Last date for receipt of completed application form is on 13th August, 2012.
