Panjab University MBA Admissions 2012-2013

University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh has announced notification for admission into Two Year Full Time Management Programmes with specialisations in International Business, Human Resources and Biotechnology for the academic session 2012- 2013. Panjab University consider CAT 2011 scores for admission into all MBA programmes. There will be no separate admission test. Candidates those willing to apply for Panjab University must appear for CAT 2011 to be conducted by IIMs. Following are details of programmes, eligibility, selection and application procedure:

Eligibility for MBA, MBA (IB) and MBA (HR) Programmes for the Session 2012-2013: Applicants should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks in the aggregate. Candidates those passed in ICAI/ ICWAI/ ICSI or AMIE with at least 50 percent marks are also eligible.

Eligibility for MBA (Biotech): Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, i.e. Biology, Zoology, Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Genetics, Veterinary Sciences, B.E. /B.Tech. (Biotechnology), B.Sc (Bioinformatics), MBBS, BDS, or B.E. (Bioinformatics) with minimum 50 percent marks. Those appearing in the final year examinations are also eligible to apply.

Candidates must take Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011 to be conducted by IIMs and should apply separately to UBS, Panjab University. Application form and Handbook of Information 2012 for MBA programmes will be available at Post Office, Sector-14, Panjab University, Chandigarh from October 5, 2011 to October 29, 2011. Application forms can also be downloaded from the UBS website: http://ubs.puchd.ac.in . Filled in forms along with required documents should be sent to Dean, Faculty of Business Management & Commerce, University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh – 160014. Last date for the receipt of completed application forms is 29th October 2011. Short listed candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
