  1. arijeet sarangi says:

every syllabus should be same as ncert as every one follows the syllabus and it should be objectve not subjective as it was

    • admin says:

      Hi Arijeet,
Is the scheme of the question paper released? It appears only syllabus is available on the website! Let us hope the question paper will be in objective multiple choice type with good standards.

      • lata says:

hi.u should know that only the objective type questions will be asked.it may be for 250 or 180 marks.its not finalised. so dont worry

      • ABHISHEK says:

        hello friends
on most of the websites it is written that paper will be objective comprising of 180 questions with no negative marking

  2. anxiousmom says:

11th and 12 std. syllabus is not the same for all the various boards across the country. So CBSE students have an unfair advantage as the core syllabus is based on their syllabus

    • Vani mishra says:

PLZ TELL me that students who have passed class 12 from NOS (national open school) can they appear for this medical entrance? will they get admission after qualifying if they have done class 12 from NOS?????

  3. Dr .M R Attri says:

How will colleges be allotted ,list of colleges merit wise needs to be furnished ,&how will states decide their own share of seats,& states need to adopt ncert type teaching instead of their own boards

  4. well wisher says:

please include human physiology in our core syllabus and make the paper objective only.

  5. SHARON THOMAS says:

When making the rank list, the marks of qualifying examination should not be considered but only consider the marks of NEET-UG. otherwise, students studying in state syllabus get higher ranks in rank list due to the liberalized valuation of their qualifying examinations. State govts. will definitely direct their boards to give plenty of marks to their students in the qualifying exams irrespective of standard of student causing under standard students will become medical officers in our country while brilliant students will remain out….. So, while making the rank list for NEET-UG consider only marks of entrance exam….. thanks

  6. Akshatha shetty says:

hello sir!I do not think it is a wise decision to conduct NEET this year as well as in the coming years unless the whole country starts following a common board. It will be very tough for students appearing for the medical exam this year as the portions have already been completed, and starting studying a new set of books in such a short time is really tough.I request you to please think over this decision.

  7. DILRUBA SHAREEF says:

I think it is a better idea especially for students abroad. The syllabus prescribed by them is same as NCERT.

  8. vivek chopra says:

neet ug should not be from this year as whole country doesnt follow a common board ..

  9. sweety agrawal says:

its unfair to conduct NEET this year as we dont follow a commom syllabus across the country. It will be unfair for students taking studies with ISC, STATE BOARD.So centre should first implement a common syllabus and then move ahead with NEET in the upcoming years.

  10. PIYUSH GUPTA says:

PLEASE KEEP THE SYLLABUS AS BEFORE AND PATTERN OF EXAM MUST BE OBJECTIVE TYPE.
HOW THE ALLOTMENT OF SEATS WILL BE DONE ? IT IS A VERY CONFUSING MATTER TILL NOW.
HOW THE STUDENTS WILL BE ABSORBED IN REPUTED PRIVATE MEDICAL COLLEGES.
    KINDLY THINK OVER THIS MATTER.
    THANKS

  11. Dr S.K.Jain says:

It is unfair to put a new syllabus in the hands in the midsession of twelveth class. It should have been given at the start of eleventh class.

  12. Sourav Kumar says:

Although the concept of undertaking the cet is praiseworthy, afterall it must be of objective type.As this may take a long interval to be prepared on the basis of new syllabus even if this is of objective type(minimum 1 year).Whereas the mci is going to conduct cet duing the period of January-February(according to the source).Which is not a fair decision. In order to make students to be prepared fully the mci mustn’t conduct this before May 2012 & to make the student’s labour successfull the cet must be of objective type.

  13. shantanu says:

SIR,PLEASE INCLUDE HUMAN PSYSIOLOGY INOUR SYALLABUS.
YOU CAN THINK OF OMITTING CHAPTERS LIKE ANIMAL KINGDOM OR PLANT KINGDOM.
    PLEASE THINK OVER IT AGAIN.
    THANKS

  14. payal choudhary says:

It is no good of putting a new syallabus in mid of session.
you should include human psysiology because for medical it is our main subject.
    bye.

  15. piyush gupta says:

    sir,
iam a dropper student and in my opinion cet is good for students as it will be of objective type but changing the syllabus is not a very good idea.
if you want to give students a relief you should conduct the exam in middle of may 2012.

  16. anonymous says:

according to me syllabus shud be standarized as i came 2 know through my sources that human phsiology and anatomy should not be deleted if it happens then what we will study in the medical colleges if the basics are omitted . This shows that ther are making fun of us

  17. madhumita peri says:

sir, i am happy that the central govt. has taken such a wise decision regarding the conduction of exam……….i even agree with the problem of students regarding the variable syllabus followed all over the country….so it would be helpful if the syllabus is decided in such a manner that the lessons would be similar for almost all the boards and thus the students can easily cope up with the new system.

    • anudeep says:

iam against neet if such a thing happens in the middle of the academic year where will the students go to fetch the extra material to fulfil the syllabus it has to be implemented for the students who joins puc for the coming academic year

  18. sidhant gandhi says:

sir , it is unfair to put new syllabus in present condition because we are about to complete our 12th syllabus . i am happy that the central govt. has taken such a wise decision regarding the conduction of exam. only bu important problem is the new syllabus. it could be solved if you can make some changes in syllabus . there is great difference in our state syllabus and the syllabus declared by the MCI . thank you…………………………………..

  19. sayantan dutta says:

    1.Human Physiology must be included
2.seats should be reserved for state students in state-run medical colleges.
3.A m0del question paper must be uploaded within august

  20. Manish says:

It is very gud deceision but keep syllabus and exam pettern as well as aipmt.

  21. Pallak Razdan says:

    Dear sir,
Please include Human physiology in the syllabus as that unit in biology is the sole resaon why most of the biology students take up medicine. Plant Physiology is not going to help budding doctors in any form sir. Take out that unit if u really want to give us students a relief from tedious learning, but please keep human physiology. After all, we are going to be treating human beings in a hospital, Not plants….

  22. ankit gurjar says:

thanks for common entrance sir the sylabus of neet ug is good so never change it

  23. SIMRAN says:

Sir we have to study human physiology in MBBS so plant physiology should be omitted as we have to treat human beings in hospitals not plants. please release a sample paper so we can know the pattern of paper & chemistry syllabus should be reduced. Thank You

  24. bhavishya says:

sir, please make the biology syllabus comfortable for not only cbse students but who study their state books too because we should go on with 2 year syllabus with in short duration of time and we are about to complete our 12th class..

  25. SIDRA HANFI says:

PLEASE LET THE QUESTION PAPER BE OBJECTIVE AND BETTER IF ONLY CONCEPTUALS OF PHYSICS ARE INCLUDED SINCE BIOLOGY STUDENTS FACE A LOT OF PROBLEM IN PHYSICS AND BEST IF PHYSICS BE EXCLUDED.

  26. fatima says:

syllabus should be same as our state andhra pradesh with minor addition

  27. piyush gupta says:

    sir,
It is very disapointing that you are not including human physiology in our core syallabus.
please include it because it is our main topic.

  28. susruta dash says:

WE R GOING TO RRAD MBBS IN NEXT FIVE YEARS BUT THEIR IS NO HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY IN ENTRANCE SYLLABUS.R U SURE SIR THAT WE WILL READ COCKROACH PHYSIOLOGY IN MEDICAL COLLEGES.PLEASE INTRODUSE OUR PHYSIOLOGY,NOT OTHERS.

    • jaspreet kaur says:

yes it’s true that question paper will be objective and comprises 180 questions with no negative marking. i have read it recently in mtg magazine

  29. Jyoti Singh says:

    DEAR SIR,
If you are determined that NEET-UG exam will start from 2012 only , then please look at the syllabus of biology. please include human physiology and omit plant physiology. Please look at this problem . please…..

  30. Vishwasmeena says:

Thans sir ncart cours aplod we are happy

  31. Biswarup Chatterjee says:

Sir, you had decided to adopt CBSE Syllabus advised by NCERT but you should consult with different State Boards conducting 10+2 Course where Human Physiology is the main part of Biology. You shouldn’t include Plant physiology or Botany oriented matters. However main objectives of MCI is excellent

  32. VISHNU HARI says:

PLEASE INCLUDE HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY ALSO IN THE SYLLABUS
THE PATTERN OF THE EXAM SHOULD BE OBJECTIVE AS BEFORE
IN THE SYLLABUS PHYSICS IS GIVEN MORE IMPORTANCE THAN BIOLOGY . PLEASE FOLLOW THE SAME SYLLABUS AS FOR AIPMT

  33. Abhi says:

Human phisiology should be necessarily included in the syllabus because it is very useful for mbbs
The weightage of physics and chemistry should be decreased
Paper should be fully multiple type and pattern should be provided as early as possible so we can study according to it

  34. vyas tripathi says:

what is the new pattern of the upcoming examination????? will it be subjective or objective please replyyyyy

  35. vivek says:

biology should be given 50% weightage and chemistry and physics both 25% weightage. as it is till now in aipmt..dont change this pattern

  36. Girish Samudra says:

The new pattern of CET will be very unjust and unfair to the students who began preparations way back from May, 2010. If any change in Pattern or Syllabus is to be made it has to be with a prospective effect giving justified opportunity for the students to make the right choice and pursue the studies in a planned manner.

Please ensure that no injustice is done to students and the new pattern/syllabus is made applicable with effect from Academic Session of the year 2013-14.

  37. nidhi dehankar says:

what will be the state quota for private medical colleges of maharashtra state for neet exam 2012?

  38. pooja sharma says:

this is a nice pattern. you should not include humen physicology and reduce some portion of orgenic chemistry and Paper should be fully multiple type and pattern should be provided as early as possible so we can study according to it and tell us that full biology will comes from ncert or any other book like rajasthan boards 2009 biology? plz replay

  39. saila says:

It is really a good decision. Other thatn 15% quota, getting admission in MBBS is very expensive and it is not affordable to the children belongs to middle / upper middle class families. I also under the opinion, making the rank list, the marks of qualifying examination should not be considered but only consider the marks of NEET-UG. otherwise, students studying in state syllabus get higher ranks in rank list due to the liberalized valuation of their qualifying examinations. State govts. will definitely direct their boards to give plenty of marks to their students in the qualifying exams irrespective of standard of student causing under standard students will become medical officers in our country while brilliant students will remain out….. So, while making the rank list for NEET-UG consider only marks of entrance exam….. thanks

  40. Priyanka says:

    Sir
Please add human physiology in our syllabus as this is our main topic and exclude plant physiology . The paper should be only objective type and weightage of Physics and chemistry should be 25% each and that of biology should be 50%.
    please look at this problem…

  41. supriya says:

    respected sir/mam,
its a humble request plz thing once more abt this pattern. do u really want us to become the dr. of insects and plant.after studying according to this pattern we will nt b able to cover the base of human phy. .
    HATS OFF TO YOUR DECISION………..
well in that case plz allow us to have the degree like….-LOTUSLOGIST.
SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT PLZ THINK.

    • pradeep says:

My uncle is a wellknown and one of the best surgeon considered in the city. He studied physiology of frog and botany at higher secondary level in his time. he had no problem in the medical college during his MBBS to understand the anatomy and physiology of human being. so, dear think before you comment on any matter and rethink about the words you use to comment. NCERT is not a foolish body. Yes, I also agree that the human physiology should be there as per the syllabus of CBSE and other boards. However if you study plants, even then you can be a good doctor. Don’t worry you will not become a LOTUSOLOGIST.

  42. piyush gupta says:

    Hello,
I just want to say CET is beneficial for students and its good you have excluded human physiology, but i also want you to ommit plant kingdom from core syallabus.
    please think over it.

  43. janvi says:

    hi
i m studying in 11th sci.but i don’t agree with your decision because first of all i m studying in guj medium .we have all ready one board exam and now my 12th std Friends haven’t time to prepare this exam.
this exam is OK for cbsc course so this exam is not good for state board so plz sir reject this exam .we have many causes for this exam.
    1)no time ti preparation
    2)very long course to learn
3)we have not time to convert it in Gujarati language

  44. satawdi says:

the exam should done during the mid of may as there will be our board exams in march. The weightage for physics and chemistry should be 25%each and for biology it should be 50%.

  45. nima thakkar says:

sir, i studied in 11th science gujarati medium..
and i think it is not a good decision to take entrance exam in english.
our state board course is not enough for this entrance and we have no time to refer any other books. so please sir think over it and cancel this exam.
we can not do anything except requesting you…
please sir kindly think over it again.

  46. mansi thakkar says:

    respected sir/mam
i think it is unfair to gujarati medium students to give exams in english.
in such a short time they can not familirize with english terminology.
it gives great advantage for english medium students and it is just unfair for gujarati medium students.
so please sir kindly think over it and cancel this exam

  47. SOURAV says:

    Sir,

The concept of undertaking the CET is surely a matter of praiseworthy, but the topics included under Physics & Chemistry syllabus seems to be more critical & vast also.Whereas the topics included under Biology syllabus is of very small range excluding the most necessary unavoidable topic of Zoology i.e.THE ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY .Biology is the identity of a medical aspirant which must not exclude even a single part of it,but the opposite has happened. In my view the medical aspirant after being selected in MBBS will never deal with Electronics & Electrical studies rather he will deal with Animal Physiology. What reason made the experts of NCERT to include such unwanted topics is absolutely amazing, because in a very short interval of period how the student will complete such vast syllabus, this is only known to the student.Afterall I would like to request for the complete removal of topics like ELECTRONICS,CURRENT ELECTRICITY,MAGNETISM(PHYSICS) & addition of topic like ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY(ZOOLOGY) with shortening the vastness of Chemistry syllabus. So that the students can be prepared fully without having any overload in mind.Thank You.

    • sayantan says:

      my friend,
Physics is always included in the medical entrance syllabus. You told that you need not electricity or chemistry in mbbs. Then how will you understand the mechanism of ECG OR composition of a medicine. But it is sure that human physcioloogy must be included.

  48. chandresh shah says:

Declaration of exam is too late,it must be declare when students are starting thre 11 th standard.so neet exam can only conduct from 2013.further there is main problem of language as exam will be given in english & hindi only ,how student of local language can pass the exam ?

  49. prachi says:

Sir, you had decided to adopt CBSE Syllabus advised by NCERT but you should consult with different State Boards conducting 10+2 Course where Human Physiology is the main part of Biology. You shouldn’t include Plant physiology or Botany oriented matters. However main objectives of MCI is excellent

  50. ravindra b shinde says:

wheather neet will be based on 11th +12th syllabus together or just on the basis of 12th?

  51. Shourabh kumar says:

The whole pattern of ths exam shud b kept same as that of aipmt 2011 including the syllabus.

  52. pooja says:

Sir, u should exclude physics from neet cet as it does not help us in any way. bio students face a lot of difficulty in studying physics.
please add human physiology and some part of physics and chemistry or plant kingdom and plant physiology

  53. pooja says:

o sorry in my earlier blog i by mistaken has written add some part of phy. or chem. & plant physio. and kingdom , ushould exclude from diis not add.

  54. JAYESH SHUKLA says:

It is unfair to put a new syllabus in the hands in the midsession of twelveth class. It should have been given at the start of eleventh class.

  55. Pandhre Rushikesh says:

    -Please postpne NEET for 2012.
    -When it’s applicable.
-It should not be in only English and Hindi.
    -It must be in Gujarati.
    -Gujarati is an Indian Language.
-we are against of this injustice.

    • mohdjaved says:

      1. This is a very crual decision in favour of students of state boards
of india SPECIALLY UP BOARD AND BIHAR.
      2. About 85% of student are from their state boards & syllabus
proposed by MCI is 80% differ from state boards, students can not
afford new syllabus in 1 year bcoz 12th students already have studied
      11th syllabous.
      3. Entrace exams questions will be from 11th & 12th class.july,august
will passed till now.PLZZ EXPLAIN, HOW WILL BE A 2 YEAR SYLLABUS
PREPAIRED BY STUDENTS OF STATE BOARDS IN 7 MONTHS?
      4. This decision will be better if there will be a common board in
whole country, all appeared students will pass by studying a common
syllabus, there will be many difficulties to prepare for NEET UG in
      2012.
      5. In this year, the whole ADVANTAGE of NEET UG will goes to CBSE
students only bcoz their syllabus is EXACTLY SAME as NEET UG.
      WE WANT JUSTICE.

  56. shailaja says:

the syllabus divert towards biology rather than physics & chemistry. In biology human physiology should not be reduced from the syllabus. further we are doing MBBS so we have no use of physics & chemistry in future & i kindly requesting u to reduce the topics like electrostatics, current & some topics from organic chemistry & some all other topics which are unnessesary for us…..

  57. anjali sharma says:

please include human physiology in the syllabus .the test shouldbe objective only .the age limit should not be 17 years .if anyone is eligible but just because he is not above 17 should not be the criterion to dismis them from exams.

  58. divya jain says:

human physiology is of the utmost importance in medical it should not be excluded from syllabus. plant physiology should be excluded in place.

  59. D A PATEL says:

    sir,
as you know that the year of 11 th & 12th are career making year of students . it is not fair to announce this type of circular after starting of 11th because it affect the career of students as students have decide biology subject for medical after considering the present rule. you must declare this type of decision before the may as parents & students can decide whether they go for NEET or other option.
also first of all there should be common syllabus for all over the INDIA prepare by govt of India then you can think for NEET. so pl.do not apply before there is common syllabus in all over India.
NEET must be taken in regional language because all have right to study in mother tung.

  60. aditi rathi says:

    dear sir,
Absence of human physiology acts as a shocking news for all those students who are preparing for PMT.
As we all are going to become future doctor i am unable to understand the trick of decreasing the syllabus of zoology and instead i think that for medical students and therefore i feel that the syllabus of physics & chemistry should be reduced as much as you can (with special reference to organic chemistry) which is becoming burdensome on already overburdened students.
Hope my suggestions will be think and acted upon.

  61. ali azad says:

    it is totally injustice.
first of all apply new syllabus common for all states study this pattern and than after two year force for NEET.
as there is a vast different between state board syllabus and NEET syllabus .
and every one has right to study in there mother tung. sir you have to think about this.
pl apply after 5 years and make common syllabus during this time.

  62. parth says:

    it is totally injustice.
please think thousand times before apply this otherwise there are lot of injustice to all students who study state board syllabus.
first of all apply new syllabus common for all states study this pattern and than after two year force for NEET.
as there is a vast different between state board syllabus and NEET syllabus .
and every one has right to study in there mother tongue. sir you have to think about this.
pl apply after 5 years and make common syllabus during this time.

  63. meet says:

Declaration of exam is too late,it must be declare when students are starting there 11 th standard.so neet exam can only conduct from 2015. as students take admission in 11th he should know about NEET. this year 11th student(2011) also not known about this so they should exempted from NEET. NEET should not taken in year 2013 also. further there is main problem of language as exam will be given in english & hindi only ,how student of local language can pass?????????????????

  64. divesh rathva says:

-Please postpone NEET up to 2015
    – it’s applicable only after common syllabus all over India.
-It should not be in only English and Hindi.
    -It must be in Gujarati.
    -Gujarati is an Indian Language.
-we are against of this injustice.

  65. Dr. Darshna says:

    it is totally injustice.
first of all apply new syllabus common for all states .than study this pattern and than after two year force for NEET.
as there is a vast different between state board syllabus and NEET syllabus .
and every one has right to study in there mother tung. sir you have to think about this.
pl apply after 5 years and make common syllabus during this time.

  66. vivek says:

when the pattern of Neet will get published ….why MCI is not for looking this big decision ..11th august is past now, why are they not understanding our problems its the question of our career and still Don’t no what to study.? good MCI KEEP IT UP!

  67. virkantkumar says:

no physics syl.must be removed but foolishly human physiology iz removed which iz base of mbbs

  68. Dr. SSR Baqri says:

    Dear Sir,
I sincerely welcome the move by MCI to introduce the common syllabus as it will save the time & effort of medical aspirants. But, sadly the proposed syllabus of biology is the worst thing that I have ever seen in my 20 year long teaching career. It appears that people who devised this junk & ridiculous syllabus were in some hurry because the syllabus lacks the very basics of zoology. I wish to know how & why topics like human physiology, anatomy of model vertebrate types & concepts of evolution were left out. In short the biology syllabus without human physiology looks like a big joke. So, kindly convey the opinion of experts to MCI so that they rectify it in time..

  69. N S N RAJU says:

Please postpone NEET UG upto2014 . Difference between various states syllabus and neet syllabus. In2012 applicable common syllabus in allover india. In2012 start the common syllabus in india, after two years conduct NEET.

  70. PANTHANGI SRINIVAS says:

It is very unfair on the part MCI to conduct NEET from 2012 onwards without having common syllbus across the country at plus 1 & 2 levels (or intermediate level). By this time most of the students have completed their syllabus and are in revision mood for their final examinations. At this movement the decision is not good . It is a very basic requirement to have a common syllabus at the qualifying examination to judge a student for MBBS couse. Hope MCI & Govt., of India at large will reconsider their decision and do justice to the medicine aspirants.

  71. nikita says:

i dont feel its a good idea… since if a student falls sick or he is faced by any medical problem on the day of examination, he will not be able to appear for the exam, he will have no second option…..this will make him lose 1 whole year.I THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD LOOK INTO THE MATTER DEEPLY.BECAUSE IT IS CONCERNED WITH THE LIFE OF THE STUDENTS.

    • pradeep says:

I totally agree with you. If govt. is really serious about students, their time and money, then there should not be any exam fee. Except AIIMS and AFMC, all National level institutes(BHU, AMU,MGIMS,CMC,JIPMER ets)+15% of states seatsshould only be covered under NEET and There should be a separate entrance exam at state level. All exams must be without examination fee.

  72. ajay says:

    sir,
its not good that u hav excluded human physciology bcoz its our main topic .
please reduce physics and botany and exam should only objective type.

  73. JASH MALHOTRA says:

AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT SHOULD BE MADE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ABOUT THE SYLLABUS AND THE DATE OF NEET-2012.HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED AT ANY COST FROM THE SYLLABUS,INSTEAD SOME TOPICS FROM PHYSICS SHOULD BE ERADICATED.

  74. Danish khan says:

    Respected sir,
it will be difficult for the students who are appearing for their 12th board exam to study ever huge syllabus in nearly 28 weeks .
This will affect their mental health and economy too.they will suffer from psychological problems. so , i request not to follow this Neet-ug exam from this year.

  75. S N RAJU says:

This is medicalbasedexam so in NEET UG Exam Biology 60%,Physics 20%,Chemistry 20%Waitage of marks in Exam Pattern. Please clarify Management Quota seats in Private Medical colleges. Please clarify Reservations including lady Reservasions. In NEET UG Deemed Universities Including or Excluding.

  76. anshul singh says:

syllabus should be totally from ncert as it is national book and followed by whole country

  77. kavita Rawat says:

    Very useful information…
    Thanks!

  78. ISHITA GUHA says:

Hello, can you please inform me from where can i get the question pattern of NEET-UG examination..

    • admin says:

The Scheme of the examination and question paper pattern are not announced. Only syllabus is available right now and may expect other details soon.

  79. Shailendra kumar says:

NEET is best for all the studends, who try to gain more knowledge in less ready but it must be objective

  80. Abhishek Mishra says:

Common medical test is not right solution for medical entrance otherwise state board’s students will have to suffer lot. it is only favorable for CBSE and ICSE board’s students. State medical exams should be conduct.

  81. DR. AMIT BAGHEL says:

Its really good to have single CET in the country as it will not only save time and money but also put an end on Corruption being done by Private medical colleges in name of their own or associations Pre medical exams which are mostly fake and seats are given to undeserving rich candidates . But no one can deny from the fact that its not realistic to conduct NEET UG from 2012 . Reasons are as follows :
1.Its damn too late for class 12th students to consider this new syllabus , specialy State board students and those who don’t have means to join a coaching institute .
2.Problem of language of Q. Paper for students studying in Local languge.
3.Institutes of National importance viz. JIPMER , AIIMS have their own way to select pool of talented students , thus they should not be included in NEET.
4.Syllabus lacking Human physiology seems like a joke being made by eminent Teachers of NCERT .They should reconsider it.
5.If state eligibility conditions and rules will not be considered it might invite countrywide protests from students and parents who find State Pmts more convinient to fulfill their dreams .
OVERALL, their are lot of things and matters that should not be looked down upon by MCI and Central govt. While preparing rule book for NEET UG. Moreover something must be done to put an end to unnecessary Fee hike by private colleges and way they admit students . Surely their should one single entrance for MBBS /PG SEATS in all private medical colleges across the country ,but its nearly impossible as most of these colleges are owned by ministers and politicians who are law makers in the parliament . DEBATE WILL GO ON . . . . .
I think we need to have more great ones like Respected SHRI ANNA HAZARE 2 make our country free from all form of corruptions. MAY GOD BLESS US . .

  82. vinayak mishra says:

what is the paper pattern of neet ug exam.

how many question come in each physics chemistry and biology

    tell me fast

  83. sukriti says:

well its gud that neet is being organised but the present twelfth class students are at a great disadvantage………

  84. aishwarya chakraborty says:

sir,it is very unfair to start NEET this year
i am a drop out and many of the students like me are studying the same syllabus from last two years , sudden change in syllabus and the pattern of exam is really very disturbing, even when cbse syllabus changed in 2005 students were given enough time to cope up,its almost september now and hardly few months left for mbbs entrance and we students are already under so much pressure now,its my earnest request not to start NEET this year (2012-2013)academic year pls sir.

  85. vijaykumar says:

ok sir you have decided to conduct NEET exam from 2012. as per my knoeledge i have not found in any of your website
regarding reservations on NCC quota. i think you have have omitted the national programme. also no clear picture
regarding state minorities caste details and seat matrix for NCC( IF IT EXISTS), HANDICAPPED,SC/ST, NRI, DEFENCE
PERSONS QUOTA so many aspects are not clear. please specify all the matter clearly well before at least one year other than syllabus. i think it is better to start NEET exam from 2013-2014

  86. farheen sultan says:

sir i m a dropper student and struggling from last two years now this is my third drop…. thanks for cet but please include human physiology as it is the basic topic because we are going to treat humans if u really like to omit then omit the classification….and for the relief of student please make standard objective type pattern as of aipmt pattern and condut our test in the mid of may…..thank you

    • nahid rahman says:

dont wry ,course related to humans is entirely different in mbbs,u jst focus on the xams not on human physiology, inshaallah evrything will be gud.

  87. Chingnu tuboi says:

Sir,human physiology sud be included NOT excluded, since its a must for Mbbs! Instd, the portion of physics and chemistry must be minimized.. And plant physiology and kingdom aswell! And please reconsidr regardng the qualifyng percntage for ST studnts. Thanks!

  88. vivek deep says:

plz clear as soonas posible that neet will held or not for the acadmic year 2012.we all medical aspirents are on crossroads eigther we prepre for neet or state medical pre test becouse both have different test pattern.plz give an official announcment as soon as posible.

  89. Arunav Garg says:

When will be the final announcement be made ? Its end of september and we NEED to start revising 11th syllabus !

  90. Krishna says:

How can MCI omit human physiology from the syllabus. They should cut out the botany part and include human physiology as we are going to give MEDICAL ENTRANCE. Mci should not give unfair advantage to the CBSE students.

  91. sanjana verma says:

please look at the syllabus opf physics
    its really very lengthy
reduce it and add human phiosology in the syllabus
    its a kind request.
    thankyou

  92. DINESH GOUR says:

sir it is very good decision to have a single CET in country in 2012-13 but sir please do you conform syllabus and exam pattern early soon.Sir please do not remove human physiology and instead of that remove plant physiology. I request please conduct NEET-UG from 2012 .

  93. sourabh patil says:

    sir,
that is nice to conduct only one exam all over in India…but this syllabus is different than other board syllabus.
And we have completed whole syllabus and therefore it is difficult to comlete this syllabus in short period of time.
So it is some about giving the advantage to the CBSE students and unfair to other common students.
So it is better to take exam in next year.

  94. SUJAN TIRZHA says:

GOOD. BUT SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED AS POSSSIBLE.

  95. Happy priyo says:

    Respected clients,
Kindly announce the sample of question paper as soon as possible. I think its much late. Don’t mci have a well furnished preplanned. Surprises are somehow joy-able at funny jokes at home but isn’t mci in a funny body but at least not a foolish body.. It is our soul emotion.

  96. AMIT GUPTA says:

    Dear sir
I would like to share my feedback on NEET syllabus with you…
The move by MCI to reduce the burden of entrance exam should be welcomed, but I would like to draw your attention on biology syllabus..
You have left out the Human physiology part almost completely.. here are my worries if this happens…
    1) Human physiology is what students will have to study in their first year at medical college, if they have no base or foundation about basic human systems in 11th and 12th class how do you expect them to cope up with detailed physiology directly in medical college?
    2) The first year of MBBS is only of 10 months in duration and students have to study human anatomy, human physiology and biochemistry etc. The basic human physiology taught till now in 11th and 12th makes the basis for him to grab physiology at medical college level.. This omission of topics like human circulation, blood, respiration, skeleton, excretion, endocrine and nervous system at entrance exam level will make him blind and knowledgeless when he enters in the first MBBS..
    3) Such thing will only promote private tuitions and coachings in colleges by medical college faculties..
    4) You have kept human reproduction, reproductive health etc in the syllabus.. How do you expect a PMT student to understand reproduction and reproductive health without having any knowledge of sex hormones? ( as you have deleted endocrine system from syllabus)
    5) Cockroach is not at all a replacement of animal physiology.. its an insect and has everything very different.. this is ridiculous that a student aspiring to become a doctor will be tested on his knowledge of cockroach to enter a medical college…
    6) The essence of NEET is to pick and choose students with more inclination and intelligence towards medical science.. so that we could give more deserving raw materials to medical college to work on… hence we should focus on reducing the burden of irrelevant physics, physical chemistry and core botany part.. rather than deleting what will form the basis of student’s knowledge in mbbs and during his practice life long

I hope you will take my feedback seriously and make amendments..
This is in the interest of the MCI, its reputation and society…
    Thanking you,

  97. subham says:

as there, in India have not same syllabus in every state, there have an unfair advantage for CBSE students.

  98. Amitha says:

The court should think twice before it gives the judgment. How can the students immeiately adopt to such measures which is really troubling them pshycologically. The pressure from the situation is created from either sides (parents & colleges).Try to implement from day one so that the syllabus will be systematised and the materials will be readily available for them inthe market. Now still all the state govts are not giving any clear picture.I can understand the agony of the students and parents who are under stress whether their ward has to study either of the syllabus prescribed by the state board or the ncert. Why cant the MCI take an quick action in this matter to really help the students life!

  99. kartikeya says:

when will the final syllabus of NEET UG be revealed???
    its already september now
we need time to prepare for it .pls tell the syllabus soon!

  100. Suman Bakshi says:

It’s really a nice decision the govt. has taken.

Now it would be possible for a student to show his real talent in a uniform stage.

  101. soumyadeep bhowmik says:

    My Honorable sir,
The exam make our knowledge expand.but the fact is that ,the cut of marks is very high .so ,my humble request is to decrease the cut of marks.I think the Indian Govt.must be mercy with us in collaborate with you. Thank you

  102. Priyanka Bose says:

Why dont they are thinking of other boards students????
I am from West Bengal board, and for 12 years I read in Bengali language. Now they are saying we have to answer the exam in English…
We also dont have enough time to prepare for exam…as it is knocking on the door…this is totaly unfair…

  103. ABHISHEK KAUSHIK says:

I THINK ITS A BRILLIANT DECISION . STATE BOARD BOOKS ARE BELOW STANDARD & THEY SHOULD BE CHANGED. ITS GONNA VE A TOUGH TASK FOR THE STUDENTS THAT ARE NOT FROM CBSE BOARD.
    BUT I AM QUITE PLEASED

  104. rohith says:

there should be less weightage for physics and chemistry
and biology should have more weightage .

  105. Tarik Ali says:

medical concile of india done well……….i know about seats no. and top ten colleges

  106. kritarth says:

i’m in i.s.c board….. some of the course of bio is very dissimilar to that of i.s.c. plz add human morphology instead of any other animal’s morphology……….

  107. Soumen says:

Neet start at list after two years.and a commen syllabus all over india in english mid.not for this year.we are human not a mashein that we should finish new syllabus in 6-7 months.

  108. Ahalya Nair says:

I feel the old times were better because students had to take pains and go through several external sources. Also, knowledge about current affairs is not required for NEET UG, so bookworms can have their way.

Some very important basics in biochemistry have been left out, specifically drug chemistry, its effects and uses while unnecessary topics that were covered in our lower forms have been included. The portion is highly condensed and is tailored only for students of CBSE to get through with no extra effort. Perhaps the syllabus should be reconsidered, giving space to students of other syllabi

Yet, thumbs up for national integrity ( from the exam point of view)…

  109. saranya says:

sir ,its a very good decision to have a common entrance test but what about the people who are preparing for the exam in their regional languages and the pupil who have to face state board exams and medical entrance test with different syllabuses so i hope it would be kind if you once again think of it before declaring

  110. Dr. Shafeek Abdul says:

This is heartly acceptable step and will become a wonderful platform for correct assessment of the students. Within biology, the part of Zoology should be given a bit importance while framing the paper. The paper should be in objective pattern. This NEET will bring radical changes with medical education

  111. diksha says:

where can we get sample papers to practise for neet-ug..plz specify any site

  112. nahid rahman says:

    sir,
itz a humble request ,watever changes u hav done plz inform us coz now only 6 months r left n we are still unaware about the things to study.plz have mercy on us.

  113. rajesh biswal says:

hello sir im a dropper and this exam would be a gift for us as the seats in aipmt is to less , so it will be a boon for us thank u

  114. mayank says:

I think it is foolish for those thinking that human physiology should be added since it will be a burden for the students to study more course. Moreover, the people who have taken this decision(of changing the syllabus and conducting a NEET) are way more intelligent and way more thoughtful of what are the basic knowledge for a child to have before he/she enters a medical college. And in any case conduction of the NEET was informed in March itself. Therefore, people must not waste their time in thinking but should adapt to the change.

  115. shaswat says:

it is a wise decision to have common medical exam as it is going to be profit to all the students as the number of seats are increased. The only thing that matters is the final syllabus of these exam. as there is hardly 5 months and we cannot calculate all the days as we need time for revision.
so i request that whatever the course be just finalized the syllabus.

  116. Supriyo says:

    .
if the neet exam will held in
    Westbengal all student can’t
face it because there is no
    enough time to recover CBSE
syallabus in 1 year and also
    there are no books for
preparation of it for 11th and
12th std student he/she wil lost
his future as well as dreams . so
    goverment of westbengalq
    should aaply the exam from
    2014 by releasing syallbus
before at least 6 month before
    starting of 11 th standerd

  117. Supriyo says:

    Why dont they are thinking
    of other boards
    students????
    I am from West Bengal
board, and for 12 years I
    read in Bengali language.
Now they are saying we have
    to answer the exam in
    English…
    We also dont have enough
    time to prepare for exam

  118. Supriyo says:

    Sir,human physiology sud be
    included NOT excluded,since
its a must for Mbbs! Instd,
    the portion of physics and
    chemistry must be
    minimized.. And plant
    physiology and kingdom As well

  119. rajesh biswal says:

sir i wanna say that the decision should be taken fast as there are only 5 months left for the examination

  120. m.rajanna says:

sir, several students of telugu medium taking long term coaching for medical entrance.so please consider to conduct neet2012 in telugu medium also. thank u sir.

  121. anirban says:

its a bad idea by kopil sibal &i dont agree this idea

  122. sujata sen says:

    Respected sir,
it should be cleared that if NEET will be held on this year(2012) or not as soon as possible. as the syllabus has not finalised we are in a crossroad and it is difficult to sit for the exam if it will held on january-february. we the students of state bord is finding much difficulty for this dicission. we will be very greatfull if HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY include in core syllabous and BOTANI will get less importance.

  123. sujata sen says:

    RESPECTED SIR,
It should be cleared that if NEET will held on this year(2012) or not as soon as possible. As the syllabus has not till finalised we are in a crossroad and it is difficult for us, mainly the students of state board to sit for the examination if it is held on january-february. We will be very grateful if human physiology is given more importance than botany in the core syllabus.

  124. Ravinder singh says:

neet is good decision. Please ensure that the core syllabus have human physiology and anatomy. as studying medical we have to cure human being not plant. conducting the neet in feb is not good it should be in may or june 2012.student get freed from there 12 th board papers and can devote much time to prepare for new syllabus.

  125. vivek joel bandari says:

sir please tell me that what about andhrapradesh state ,are you confrom about neet exam2012 conducting in andhrapradesh or planning for next year……..?????????? that mean 2013

    • admin says:

Andhra Pradesh is asking for exemption from NEET for two years on the grounds of variations in syllabus. Though the center is positive on this demand, it is Supreme Court which has to take final decision on the issue. The entire NEET issue is being dealt by Supreme Court and MCI and Central Government are just acting on the guidelines of the Apex Court. Hence you may need to wait and watch for the decision of the court which will be out in a few days.

  126. Ajit Deshmukh says:

NEET should not be for maharashtra student.has published book of maharashtra is not fully CBSE.so it is not possible for maharashtra student to give NEET.

  127. monvica surya says:

whether separate books will be issued by Mic or we have to buy NCERT syllabus?

Please release one site in website concisely for the guardian like us, who are illiterate about your all India test in medical exam.
Please give us summary and confirmation about your proposed or confirmed entrance exam.
    Yours sincerely,

    A worried/anxious/happy Guardian

Kindly note that I welcome your would-be decision and cerntralisation

  129. Abhishek rai says:

Sir plse reduce some topics from physics and chemistry because for medical it will not used in future.

  130. Harsh joshi says:

11th and 12 std. syllabus is not the same for all the various boards across the country. So CBSE students have an unfair advantage as the core syllabus is based on their syllabus

  131. chandan kumar says:

i am nt satisfied with the decision of mr. sibbal and the exam should be held in june month so that all student get free from board exams and revise syllabus completely

  132. GULISTAN FATMI says:

    respected sir;
this new pettern will be helpful onlywhen the syllabus of physics& chemistry is reduced a little, as it is not gonna help during medical study.

  133. Rohit says:

This is totally unfair…the state board students are not able to cope up with the ncert and cbse syllabus…state board and cbse board have toattaly diffrent portions…and toipics like electrostatics , magnetism from physics are too vast…thermodynamics and organic chemistry are too hard to digest…while human anatomy is deleted…! Botany is too vast..sir we are going to treat human patients not plants or electric wires…we will cure patients not solve the numericals…while it is very difficult to prepare for NEET in very short period with such a bulky syllabus…i request you to take into consideration this syllabus again….thank you
    regards…

  134. samira shergil says:

i am studying in 12th standard in a cbse affiliated school in pune, maharashtra.what is the procedure to apply for neet-ug 2013?

  135. Neha says:

may i know..how many states still didnt agreed for neet ..???
i mean how many states are going to conduct their cets ( state exams ) in 2013 …????

    • admin says:

It is most likely that all the states will accept NEET 2013. Only AP has some reservations which may not be accepted by Supreme Court as the state already given sufficient time to adopt to the changes.

  136. aayushi kashyap says:

please tell me in this test is there any change is made ?????

    • admin says:

The Supreme Court has scrapped the NEET examination and the Government is likely to file a review petition with the SC.
