National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. for academic year 2013. NCCS is an Autonomous Institution of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Applicants must have Post Graduation in any discipline of Science with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. Applicants must have a valid JRF (CSIR / DBT / UGC / ICMR / DSTINSPIRE / BING). Age should be below 28 years.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Science (JGEEBILS) examination through website : http ://univ.tifr.res .in/gs201 3/Apply Online/Apply_Online.htm. The hard copy of application along with attested copies of certificates / mark lists for proof of age, qualification should be sent to the Co-ordinator, Academic Cell, National Centre for Cell Science, Pune University Campus, Ganeshkhind Post, Pune – 411 007.
Last date for the receipt of hard copy of application form is 9th November, 2012. Closing date for the submission of online application for JGEEBILS examination is 26th October, 2012. Interviews will be held at NCCS on 21st and 22nd January, 2013 based on merit in JGEEBILS examination.
