National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi – an autonomous research institute has issued admission notification for Ph.D programme for the academic year 2016-17. The program is offered in the following areas of research:
1) Infection and Immunity
2) Genetics, Molecular and Cellular Biology
3) Chemical, Structural and Computational Biology
4) Reproduction and Development
Eligibility: Candidates should have M.Sc in any branch of Science, M.Tech, MBBS, M.V.Sc, M.Pharm or its equivalent qualification. Candidates should have secured at least 60 percent marks in 10+2, degree and masters levels.
Admissions will be based on the entrance examination conducted by NII at New Delhi, Kolkata, Pune and Hyderabad on February 21, 2016 OR Joint Graduate Entrance Exam in Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS – 2015).
Selected candidates will be enrolled for Ph.D in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Interested candidates can apply online only through the NII website at www.nii.res.in . Last date for the submission of applications is 31 December 2015.
