MBA through ICET after B.Tech

A software employee asked ‘I am a B. Tech pass out; My Visa application for USA got rejected recently. I joined in a Software profession. My salary is less and work is nice in that job. I am thinking I will get good experience in the present company. I like to do M.B.A by writing ICET. Is it good choice for me to appear for ICET? Also please give the list of top Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.’ The answer to this question is… you have mentioned that you have a job and also saying that the work is good. These are the best things you got in these tough times; they are a job and a good work. Even if you would have approved with your US Visa you would have not done any thing greater than this due to the current job situation there. Salary would be the slightest thing on your mind at your career developmental period. Once you become experienced to handle superior order jobs in organisation the salary would enhance automatically.

Ideally speaking, you should have 2-3 years of work experience in doing a good MBA course in a superior Institute. ICET based MBA you would be with many of the freshers around you and your learning may not be as great. Choose MBA (PGDM) at a B-School who takes admission based on CAT with experience would be a good idea where the fellow classmates would add value in increasing your capability. ICET based admissions are done by the University affiliated colleges in AP, in which the University Business Colleges would be a good idea provided you crack the top ranks.

    • It will be good to pursue MBA after B.Tech. But you should get seat in a reputed college / B-School. If not, you will be wasting another two years of time on studies.
