MBA after B.Pharmacy – Good or Bad

Pursuing MBA would be a good choice for B.Pharma Graduates. B.Pharma students can opt for MBA in any of the functional specializations like Marketing, HRM and Finance. With a graduation in B. Pharm, you have the option of doing MBA in Pharma Management as well. MBA in Pharma management is gaining importance. Indian Pharmaceutical industry is estimated at USD 6 billion at present. It has grown at an average CAGR of 15 per cent in the last decade. It is expected to touch USD 20 billion by the year 2015. There are good number of institutes offering this sector-focused MBA. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar, Mohali is the preferred choice to pursue this course.

One can pursue career opportunities in functional areas such as production, marketing, finance, operations, human resource management, etc.
