Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna has announced notification for admission into Ph.D. programme under various Departments for the academic year 2012 – 13. Applicants must have first class marks in aggregate in B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Sc. / MA / MCA / MBA / M.Tech ./ M.E. / M.S. / M.Phil in relevant disciplines. Applicants age should be below 28 years for B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Sc. / MA / MCA / MBA and 32 years for M.Tech ./ M.E. / M.S. / M.Phil.
Ph.D. programme is offered in the following departments : Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences Physics and Inter – Disciplinary research.
Application form can be obtained from the Assistant Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Patliputra Colony, Patna – 800 013, Bihar. Downloaded completed application forms with self attested copies of certificates / mark lists should be sent to the Assistant Registrar (Academic), Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Patliputra Colony, Patna – 800 013, Bihar along with a DD of Rs. 300 should be paid through any nationalized bank in favour of IIT Patna and payable at Patna.
Last date for the submission of filled in application form is 17th October, 2012.
