EAMCET is an entrance examination for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medical and Agriculture courses in Andhra Pradesh. The Engineering Entrance examination is known for tough competition and many students opt for long term coaching in reputed training centers. For Engineering stream, there will be three sections with objective multiple choice questions from Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. The division of questions goes like this:
1) Mathematics: 80 questions for 80 marks
2) Chemistry: 40 questions for 40 marks
3) Physics: 40 questions for 40 marks
Students should initially go through the contents of the subjects thoroughly and later give mock tests to assess the preparation.
