Telangana Police Exams: SI written test date announcement, Applications by post

According to the Telangana Police Recruitment Board, 12,91,006 applications were received from 7,33,559 candidates across the state for 17,516 posts in the police, SPF, fire department, jails department, transport and excise departments. The deadline for applications in the recruitment process for various departments is May 26. Srinivasa Rao said 52 per cent (3,55,679) had applied for a single job. 29 per cent applied for two jobs, 15 per cent for three jobs, 3 per cent for four jobs, one per cent for five posts and no applications for 6 posts. It was revealed that 21 per cent (2,76,311) of the total applications came from women candidates. Meanwhile, 1.4 lakh candidates have been offered job opportunities with a two-year age limit other than the three years given by the government at the time of notification. Similarly, 67 per cent students opted for Telugu medium, 32.8 per cent for English and 0.2 per cent for Urdu medium for the preliminary written test.

Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Nallagonda, Khammam and Suryapeta topped the list with the highest number of applications. 33 per cent applications were received from these districts. Mulugu, Asifabad, Bhupalpally, Narayanpet, Janagam and Rajanna Sirisilla received the lowest 7 per cent applications.

CBSE 10th, 12th Exams – New Schedule Updates

Since the lockdown has been extended in India till May 3rd, lakhs of CBSE students across the country will have to wait for the declaration of the schedule for the remaining examinations. The CBSE Board Exams, 2020 for classes 10th and 12th will likely to be held after the lockdown is lifted. The Central Board of Secondary Examination has not announced any new date so far to conduct the remaining exams for classes 10th and 12th.

Change in Syllabus for academic year 2020-21:

Meanwhile, the CBSE officials have made an announcement that the syllabus will be changed from the next academic year. They said that most of the non-academic activities will be removed and have asked the schools to spend most of the time in academic sessions. It is also learnt that the volume of syllabus will be reduced to compensate the time lost due to lockdown.

Live Fitness Classes on You Tube and Other Social Media:

CBSE has launched live fitness classes to enable students to get some physical exercise during this lockdown. They have been conducting live meditation, yoga and exercise classes to all the students from 15th April. These CBSE fitness classes will be available to everyone LIVE on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram daily at 9:30 am.
