AP TET – 2022 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Minister of State for Education Adimulku Suresh on Friday released the syllabus and procedures for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) -2022, which is a pre-requisite for candidates for government teacher recruitment in the state. The school education department has issued orders to this effect. It is learned that the government had on March 17 issued guidelines through GO 23 on TET management in the state.

Highlights related to TET

Two papers in TET

  1. The TET consists of 2 papers (Paper-1, Paper-2). These are organized as Paper 1 – A, 1 – B, 2 – A, 2 – B.
  2. Teacher posts for classes 1–5 in regular schools should be qualified in Paper 1-A.
  3. Qualification in Paper 1-B is mandatory for students with disabilities and other diverse talents to teach grades 1–5 in special schools.
  4. To teach classes 6–8 and above in regular schools, one must qualify in Paper 2-A. Eligibility in Paper 2-B is also mandatory for the same classes in special schools.

DSC in Andhra Pradesh 2021 – SGT and SA Teachers Recruitment Updates

Government of Andhra Pradesh is all set to issue DSC Recruitment Notification 2021 with more than 14000 vacancies in SGT and School Assistant categories. Details of vacancies in various districts have been collected by the authorities and notification may be issued once green signal is given by the Department of School of Education, AP.

School Assistants vacancies are yet to be ascertained. The above vacancies are notified by the Government in the previous assessment of school-wise vacancies throughout the state.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern:

The syllabus for SGT and SA will be released by the Government at the time of issue of notifications. Exam pattern scheme and syllabus may not be changed from the previous DSC recruitment. The decision on TET also will be taken by the Government based on the schedule of DSC / Teachers recruitment.
