An internship is a great tool to help you define your career goals. For example, if you're a ECE/ EIE/ EEE student you might consider an internship in the areas of Embedded systems, Microcontrollers, DSP processors, Networking area, Analog and Digital IC designs and Power electronics. In addition to that If your are a ECE student he/she can opt Mobile communications, Optical Communications, Image Processing ,satellite communication & GPS , GSM and CDMA technologies etc.

1. For ECE/ EIE/EEE/ CSE/ IT students: ECIL, BEL, ITI, CDOT, CMC, BHEL, NTPC, VSP , NSTL and Some of the software companies like INFOSYS, TCS , WIPRO, KEANE, VIRTUSHA etc.
2. Mechanical / Industrial Production students: Mahindra & Mahindra , ESSAR Steels , L & T group etc. Not only BIG companies but there are some small scale industries also offering internship.
